The Euronext Commodities team is responsible for developing new hedging and investment derivatives in the agricultural sector and beyond. We are a small, multicultural team based across the group locations in Amsterdam, Paris, and London.

Assisting the commodities teams as a reporting, project, and team assistant, you will be entitled to work on several areas.

Project management :

• Assist in the definition of project scope, requirements and objectives

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties for the execution of projects to ensure delivery on time, to scope and within budget

• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress, including the submission of regular reporting and the use of internal project management tools

• Schedule and prepare key meetings within the Project Governance (including but not limited to ProjCo, SteerCo)

• Maintain project documentation (marketing & communication & project management documents) and comply with the Group PM Policy

Reporting & team assistant :

• Follow up of the reporting agenda

• Coordinate and provide reporting materials within the team, including C-level documents

• Maintain and update commercial documentation (internal & external)

• Create and maintain an updated client mapper on the Euronext CRM tool

• Assist the team with the daily workings of the business unit

Profile :

• Candidate must be Master 1/Bac+4/equivalent student in Business or Engineering track

• Strong interest in the commodities futures and exchanges

• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, Excel (pivot table, lookup functions mastery) and Powerpoint (animation, presentation design)

• French & English professional proficiency (C1 or native). Dutch or German or Italian language is a plus.

Key accountabilities
• Deliver a positive and differentiated experience to Euronext customers at all times.
• Apply ENX and EU regulatory standards to listing/trading applications on a robust, timely and consistent basis.
• Review applications from companies seeking admission of their debt/fund securities to listing and trading on ENX markets.

Within the Innovation team, the Intern core missions will be the following : 

• Scout and analyse new trends, to ensure the team and Euronext at large are fully aware of nascent threats and opportunities, 

• Contribute to identify, screen and liaise with fintechs relevant to Euronext’s core activities and diversification ambitions,   

• Contribute to facilitate innovation challenges, 

• Contribute to define and develop use cases and projects on emerging technologies and business models, notably around alternative corporate financing (security token offerings), new trading  models and concrete artificial intelligence applications, 

• Contribute to the production of briefing notes and presentations, including for Euronext’s Managing Board, 

• Contribute to commercial and technical due diligences and to build business plans. 

Considering the size of the Innovation team (3 persons) and its transversal nature, this position requires strong autonomy, rigour and analytical skills to communicate efficiently with external and internal stakeholders, including with Euronext’s top management. 

Profile

Final or penultimate year student, ideally combining engineering and business or political science background, with strong academic credentials. 

A first successful internship in the capital market industry, including in a consultancy or fintech, would be a strong plus but is not required. 

The successful candidate will be fluent in French and in English.

Job Profile

Principal Engineer will be working with development teams and with Architects to design and implement the software components that support business needs and strategy. Recognized as an expert in multiple technology domains and will be a key role for driving the software development strategy.

Key Accountabilities

Define and provide technical guidance, best practices for the software development teams.

Partnership with Architects to design and build applications, software components, integrations/interfaces, across all software business domains.

Partnership with  QA leadership to define tools for testing and automation, fostering CI/CD strategies.

Work with Quality Assurance do develop test cases, procedures and plans.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as Principal Engineer in large and complex organizations.

Strong technical expertise in front-end (Angular, Node.js, …) and back-end (.NET, Java, …) technologies.

Strong technical expertise in API Gateways, Messaging, Event-driven applications.

Technical expertise designing and implementing Monitoring and logging tools.

Technical expertise designing and implementing CI/CD tools.

Technical expertise with both SQL and NO SQL databases.

Within the Finance team, the V.I.E ESG Data Analyst will :

• Actively contribute to the data collection, analysis and reporting required by the ESG strategy and regulation as addressed by and with the ESG Team and under the supervision of the ESG Data Manager
• Work with the different business and departments to effectively collect and analyze ESG data
• Assist the ESG team in the roll-out of new ESG regulations, by ensuring collection of new data points
• Contribute to the preparation of regular internal  reporting on ESG related metrics, assist in analysis to help understand trends and where strategic controls are needed

Heart of the Dutch financial capital market

Euronext Amsterdam is located in the lively city centre of Amsterdam at the historical exchange building at Beursplein 5. This historical building is the heart of the Dutch financial capital market. Summary of the role and departement

The Events team is part of the Communications and Investor Relations team of Euronext. The Events team is represented in all seven Euronext home countries and is in charge of organising more than 400+ events, in person, hybrid and virtual, annually across Europe.

The Events Manager Amsterdam is responsible for organising Amsterdam’ s events, such as IPO ceremonies at Amsterdam, conferences, courses and seminars in Amsterdam and supporting other events such as business dinners and lunches when needed. The event manager organises events whilst managing costs and working on continual improvement through evaluations of the events held.

The Events Manager at Amsterdam will join the Events Team in Euronext led by the Group Head of Events within the Communication and IR team at Euronext, which owns Amsterdam. The job is based in Amsterdam, with potential travels in Europe to support events in other group location if needed.

The events that are organised by Euronext are the heart of the group’s communication strategy. The Events Manager will support with the organization of these major events:

• Traditional gong ceremony
• Listing ceremonies (in the context of Initial Public Offering operations)
• Workshops and Euronext academic events, such as the multi-day Euronext education programme IPOready
• Business or private breakfast sessions, lunches and dinners
• Internal staff events, such as the End of Year Party and Family Day
• Round tables

Key accountabilities

The role as Event Manager include the following responsibilities:

• Organise and help deliver all virtual, hybrid and physical courses, events and conferences for Euronext in Amsterdam, including: Gong ceremonies, workshops, seminars or large scale events/conferences to support business and group objectives in close co-ordination with the businesses and clients.

• Co-ordinate all event logistics, such as invitations, guest lists, catering, presentation materials, audiovisual support, media, webcasting, photography, security procedures, billboards/signs, gifts etc. Also briefing external agencies and (internal) stakeholders about the events. This also includes liaising with the legal team for contracts, onboarding of new suppliers as well as raising POs and handling invoicing. These events take place in either the historical building of Euronext Amsterdam or in other external premises, in physical, virtual or hybrid formats, organised closely with Euronext’s subsidiary Company Webcast.

• The role includes close collaboration with the communications manager and the listing marketing officer at Amsterdam.

• Ensure compliance of Euronext branding, marketing and event materials with the support of the Groups design agency and our internal brand and content team.

• Regularly update website content related to events and manage registration and communication through our events tool, and ensure regular internal reporting internally.

• Work on international project when appropriate, to support other international team members. You will also participate in weekly team meetings with your colleagues from our other European locations.

• Work closely with teams in the Communications and Investor Relations department  such as the Press, Social Media, Brand & Content , Internal Comms teams as well as with other departments such as the Marketing and Facilities teams. Be the key contact point for Business owners willing to organise events in the defined scope.

• Brief external agencies and suppliers when necessary, and managing them to deliver the best possible service.

• Ensure ESG compliancy of events and goodies, and propose new ideas to improve carbon footprint of the team.

• previous experience from an events role, and exposure to an international environment is a plus. Exposure to PR and Social Media is an advantage.

About Euronext Financial Derivatives team

Euronext Derivatives offers a wide range of index futures and options as well as single stock options and futures to a diverse community of clients (Banks, Asset Managers, Brokers and Investment firms) worldwide.

The Paris Euronext Institutional Derivatives team focuses at defining the Derivatives strategy by developing the reach of its core products within clients mainly based in France, the UK and the US, and works closely with traders to develop new products and services to generate future growth.

Missions
