Samenvatting van de rollen

Als Consultant Publieke Sector heb je een breed scala aan taken en verantwoordelijkheden om ons uitgebreide netwerk van klanten in de publieke sector in Nederland te ondersteunen en uit te reiden.

Je adviseert (aankomende) klanten en opdrachtgevers hoe ze hun werkprocessen kunnen optimaliseren met behulp onze software. Primary Markets

The Primary Markets department covering Equity, Debt and Funds securities is notably in charge of the business relationship with listed companies and those considering an IPO on Euronext markets. De oorsprong van Euronext ligt bij de oprichting van de Amsterdamse Effectenbeurs in de 16e eeuw, en is hiermee de oudste effectenbeurs ter wereld! In 2000 werd Euronext opgericht door de strategische fusie van beurzen in Amsterdam, Parijs en Brussel.

Euronext Amsterdam is gevestigd in het levendige centrum van Amsterdam in het historische beursgebouw aan het Beursplein 5. Dit historische gebouw vormt het hart van de Nederlandse financiële kapitaalmarkt. Dit historische gebouw is het hart van de Nederlandse financiële kapitaalmarkt. Euronext is op zoek naar een Event & communications Trainee voor de locatie Amsterdam ter ondersteuning van het Amsterdam Events team binnen het Euronext Investor Relations, Communications & Events Team.

Het Events Team werkt nauw samen met de volgende lokale afdelingen: Communications, Listings, Primary Markets, Facilities, Human Resources en met de Amsterdam Managing Board.


Evenementen en projecten

De evenementen die door Euronext worden georganiseerd vormen het hart van de marketing- en communicatiestrategie van de groep. De Event & communications Trainee zal ondersteunen bij de organisatie van deze grote evenementen:

- Traditionele gongceremonie

- Noteringsceremonies

- Workshops

- Zakelijke lunches en diners

- Interne evenementen, zoals het eindejaarsfeest en familiedag

- Round Table Vergaderingen

- Webcasts

- Academische evenementen, zoals het meerdaagse opleidingsprogramma IPOready van Euronext

De organisatie en coördinatie van bovenstaande evenementen omvat de voorbereiding van alle logistiek, gastenlijsten en cateringarrangementen, presentatiematerialen, AV-ondersteuning en nog veel meer.  Ook heb je nauw contact met externe bureaus en (interne) stakeholders.

Deze evenementen vinden plaats in het historische gebouw van Euronext Amsterdam of op andere externe locaties, in fysieke, virtuele of hybride formats, en worden nauw georganiseerd met Euronext's dochteronderneming Company Webcast.

Key accountabilities

  • Within the Primary Markets department, the Equity Listing team sets strategic priorities and delivers associated projects, leads regulatory engagement, and is responsible for financial results of the Equity Listing business line across our markets, in close cooperation with the business development and sales teams.
  • Reporting to the Equity Listing Associate, the Equity Listing Analyst will be contribute to designing and delivering initiatives / projects to enhance Euronext’s value proposition and its position as a key listing venue among global exchanges, in cooperation with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Such initiatives / projects may include, but are not limited to: (i) reinforcing Euronext listing franchise leading position focusing on Tech companies,  SMEs and ESG-related topics; (ii) enhancing the commercial coverage model and the value proposition towards existing and prospective issuers; (iii) optimising the end-to-end customer experience for listed companies at various touchpoints and in collaboration with other client-facing teams; (iv) improving the visibility and attractivity of Euronext as a listing venue to firms inside and outside Euronext’s core geographies; (v) harmonising regulatory frameworks and advocating for adequate rules, measures and initiatives to reinforce European equity capital markets competitiveness and attractiveness.
  • Importantly, the Equity Listing Analyst will fuel the Equity Listing business line’s efforts in anticipating market trends and competitors’ moves and in identifying new commercial opportunities, hence contributing to the group-wide strategic planning effort.
  • On an ad hoc basis, he/she will also support the listing sales teams in their commercial strategy and in addressing high-stake prospects, clients or partners.



Your profile

  • Master degree, ideally in business, finance, engineering or political science from a top tier institution.
  • 1-3 years of successful experience, ideally in a strategy consulting firm and/or investment bank, or in a demanding position in the wider financial services industry and/or in a large corporate.

  • Good understanding of financial services.
