The Development Analyst – Trainee will be in charge of the projects to be developed in JIRA ecosystem, including integrations with third party applications also cloud based.

Currently the portfolio of available projects based in JIRA are:

  • Cloud integration, to collect and monitor AWS components  to be used across support and engineering teams;
  • Asset management implementation, to control and manage the hardware inventory and configuration, as well as the software license compliancy & cost;
  • Governance and Risk Compliancy implementation, to support Risk and Audit process;

A Software Developer – Trainee will learn and become responsible of the development practices during the development phases of pre-production, user acceptance and production.

As a Senior Product Designer, the candidate will participate in the discovery phase for our products by conducting user research and designing web applications. He/she will be in charge of user research, design sprint with creation of prototypes, animation and creation of user paths and interfaces ensuring effective transfer to the development team.

Job Profile

Within the Risk & Compliance department, a team of more than 40 talented professionals in Risk, BCM and Compliance, spread across our various geographies, is ensuring to preserve the value assets and reputation of the company. Identifying and assessing risks, implementing mitigation actions, informing and raising staff and business awareness, monitoring and ensuring compliance with the appropriate regulations are the core activities embedded in our team.

Euronext is in the process of reviewing its Internal Control Framework, with a view on better integrating it on its Risk Management process and aligning it with recognized standards such as COSO.

This review will be conducted in a project-like organization, on a scope covering the core-market businesses, IT and associated support functions. The expected outcome of this initiative is an updated control framework including detailed and documented processes, a control program, as well as reporting and decision-making venues. The introduction of a system designed to automate the maintenance and the execution of the internal control program is also considered.

The trainee's role will be to assist the Internal Controller in the project, and then to help on the execution of the control program. Within the Internal Control Team, the apprentice, under the responsibility of the Internal Controller, will be located in Porto.

Key Responsibilities

The candidate will support the team in the following activities:

  • Updating, verification and monitoring of internal consistency of the provisions of the Rules of Borsa Italiana, MTS, Cassa di Compensazione e Garanzia and Monte Titoli
  • Assessment of compliance of the aforementioned Rules with internal and external provisions
  • Monitoring of new domestic and international regulatory initiatives, and subsequent thematic analysis
  • Comparative analysis of national regulations in force and implications on the national regulatory framework

 

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate has:

  • Master's Degree in Law
  • Good knowledge of English (both written and spoken)
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Teamworking, precision and attention to details

Key accountabilities
• Contribute to the development of Euronext’s legal framework and policies in relation to regulatory and legal matters (business law, contractual law, corporate law, Intellectual property law, competition law).
• Review the terms of business for Euronext’s regulated products / services and update these to ensure they are compliant with regulatory laws and the commercial requirements of Euronext.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of regulatory enforcement policy, procedures and guidance.
• Assess and respond to information and concerns and/or issues raised by market participants, investors and other stakeholders.

Your profile
• Ability to maintain excellent relationships with colleagues in other business areas, external bodies and key stakeholders such as senior management, external legal counsel and other relevant regulators.
• Ability to analyse evidence to form a view on whether a regulatory/legal breach has occurred, what action to take, what further evidence may be needed and how this evidence might be obtained.
• Ability to apply legal analysis in principle to real life scenarios.
