Our internships are full-time, have a minimum duration of 6 months and involve constant mentoring by a company mentor and a team of professionals. 

Internships are based in one of our Italian offices: Milan, Rome, or Isernia, and can incorporate both on-site and remote working.

Areas and skills

Finance and Market Strategy

You will join the Primary Markets (Borsa Italiana or ELITE) or Post Trade (Euronext Securities Milan) teams in overseeing financial markets and related instruments in order to meet the demands of internal and external stakeholders. This role will allow you to become more confident in managing the dynamism of the market, embracing its current evolution and being part of the change itself.

We are looking for profiles with a background in Finance, Market Economics and Financial Intermediaries (Master's Degree).

Finance and Market Law

You will join the Primary Markets (Borsa Italiana) or Post Trade (Euronext Securities) teams in the study of financial market regulation in order to help the group comply with national and international law. In addition, the role will allow you to deepen the analysis of companies that want to list on the stock market, and listed companies that want to maintain their position with strength.

We are looking for profiles with a background in Law, specialising in Regulatory and Corporate Compliance (Master's Degree).

Finance and Quantitative Methods

You will join the Primary Markets (Borsa Italiana) or Post Trade (Euronext Securities Milan) teams in the study of quantitative analysis of financial instruments in order to manage data and reports that can be used to make strategic and important business decisions.

We are looking for profiles with a background in Finance, Mathematics and Statistics (Master's Degree).

Marketing & Communication

You will join the Primary Markets (Borsa Italiana) teams in organising financial conferences, events and training courses in order to support the company's products, activities and results worldwide. The internship is within the Local and international settlement team.
Monte Titoli Settlement area is in charge of controlling and monitoring the correct functioning of the settlement activities throughout the entire chain from trading platforms and clients systems to settlement platforms including the possible interaction with the clearing systems.
It is also responsible for the relevant Settlement documentation describing the Settlement services and for the enhancements and development of the service. For this purpose there is a strong interaction with domestic and European institutions and supervising authorities.

The team has the responsibility for the relationship with listed companies in the area of corporate and price sensitive information, interacting with listed issuers, advisors and supervisory authorities. Euronext Clearing provides an internship opportunity with the Client Support Team to provide clearing and settlement services that fully leverage the firm's risk management capabilities. Within the Risk & Compliance department, a team of more than 40 talented professionals in Risk, BCM and Compliance, spread across our various geographies, is ensuring to preserve the value assets and reputation of the company. Identifying and assessing risks, implementing mitigation actions, informing, and raising staff and business awareness, monitoring and ensuring compliance with the appropriate regulations are the core activities embedded in our team. 

Euronext is in the process of reviewing its Internal Control Framework, with a view on better integrating it on its Risk Management process and aligning it with recognized standards such as COSO. 

This review will be conducted in a project-like organization, on a scope covering the core-market businesses, IT and associated support functions. The expected outcome of this initiative is an updated control framework including detailed and documented processes, a control program, as well as reporting and decision-making venues. The introduction of a system designed to automate the maintenance and the execution of the internal control program is also considered. 

The intern's role will be to assist the Internal Controller in the project, and then to help on the execution of the control program. Within the Internal Control Team, the apprentice, under the responsibility of the internal controller, will be located in Milan.
