Structured Investment Products

One hub for issuance and settlement of warrants and certificates.

Facts

Simpel process for issuers

Short time to market

Structured Investment Products (SIP) follow the same simple process for issuers across the Nordic countries, regardless of whether issuance or settlement is in DKK, SEK or EUR. To service the instruments, Euronext Securities provides three different processes: a manual, a semi-automated and a fully-automatic process. All with the same price structure.

Time to market is short, and often below ten minutes from idea to launch, so that if an instrument closes for some reason, the issuer can launch a new product within a short time.

SIPs give investors access to invest in different warrants and certificates with varying characteristics. Some of them are geared, and some are based on different underlying assets, such as local and foreign shares, indexes, commodities and currencies.

Customer case

The issuance of Structured Investment Products from Swiss family-controlled Bank Vontobel on the Danish market also marks the introduction of Handelsbanken as Issuer & Paying Agent in Denmark for its custody business. Handelsbanken uses the VP Securities solution for automated issuance of these SIPs and the partnership’s multi-currency potential has Nordic perspectives.
