Jeroen Everling bezoekt Euronext Amsterdam en luidt de gong als nieuwe CEO van Willis. De gongslag staat tevens symbool voor de volgende stap van Willis in Nederland, met een stabiel, maar ambitieus groeiscenario.

Everling:“Ik kijk er naar uit om met de verschillende teams binnen Willis samen te werken en te bouwen aan een succesvolle toekomst. Euronext naar de beurs! In Parijs, Amsterdam en Brussel op 20 juni 2014

Rijnhard van Tets, voorzitter van de Supervisory Board en Dominique Cerutti, CEO en voorzitter van de Managing Board, openen de beurshandel ter ere van de Euronext IPO. Zij doen dit in het gezelschap van onder andere het Euronext management.

Theodoor Gilissen vraagt aandacht voor oudste nog actieve aandelenanalist van Nederland

Tom Muller, 68 jaar en aandelenanalist bij Theodoor Gilissen Bankiers, is de oudste nog actieve aandelenanalist van Nederland. Met 45 jaar ervaring in het vak kan hij met recht als de meest ervaren aandelenanalist van het land worden gezien.

Om deze reden mag Tom Muller de Amsterdamse beurs sluiten met een slag op de gong. De gongslag maakt onderdeel uit van een feestelijke verrassingsceremonie waarbij Muller in het zonnetje wordt gezet ter ere van zijn 9^e lustrum. Hij ontvangt uit handen van Tanja Nagel, bestuursvoorzitter van Theodoor Gilissen, de voor deze gelegenheid ontworpen bokaal ‘Meest ervaren aandelenanalist van Nederland’. ETF Securities launches first ETF on MSCI China A with physical replication on Euronext Paris

ETF Securities partnered with E Fund, one of China’s largest asset management companies, to launch Europe’s first physically replicated UCITS exchange traded fund (ETF) tracking the MSCI China A Index. "ETFS-E Fund MSCI China A GO UCITS ETF" is denominated in EUR and listed on Euronext Paris as of today.

This ETF can serve as a tool in a strategic asset allocation; and can also allow investors to gain a tactical exposure to A shares where valuations are still very attractive.
The MSCI China A Index has the broadest and most comprehensive A share stock coverage, with strong historical outperformance compared to other A share benchmarks. Henri Boua, Associate Director for France and Monaco said: “ETFS-E Fund MSCI China A GO UCITS ETF aims to track the performance of the MSCI China A Index that comprises over 460 Chinese stocks and provides more diversified sector coverage than other China A indices which typically have a high concentration in fewer sectors and stocks.”

BAM markeert 55-jarige beursnotering met gongslag

Lid raad van bestuur Koninklijke BAM Groep, Rob van Wingerden, markeert 55-jarige beursnotering van het aandeel BAM met een slag op de gong.

Het aandeel van Koninklijke BAM Groep staat officieel aan Beursplein 5 in Amsterdam genoteerd sinds 19 juni 1959. Vanaf begin maart 1959 was het aandeel voorlopig in de notering opgenomen. ‘Zeer binnenkort zullen de aandelen Bataafsche Aanneming Maatschappij v/h Fa. J van der Wal & Zoon N.V. op de Amsterdamse beurs worden geïntroduceerd’, schreef De Telegraaf op 18 februari 1959. Inmiddels heeft BAM meer dan 269 miljoen aandelen uitstaan en bedroeg de totale beurswaarde (marktkapitalisatie) ultimo 2013 net boven de € 1 miljard. Koninklijke BAM Groep is met circa 23.000 medewerkers actief in de sectoren bouw en techniek, infra, vastgoed en publiekprivate samenwerking.

Orange Babies luidt gong voor Expeditie Mont Ventoux

Met een slag op de beursgong geeft directeur van Stichting Orange Babies, Baba Sylla, het startschot voor Expeditie Mont Ventoux die van 20 tot en met 23 juni plaatsvindt. Hij doet dit in het gezelschap van de directie van DESTIL; partner van Orange Babies en tevens initiatiefnemer van Expeditie Mont Ventoux.

Op 22 juni fietsen of rennen ruim 70 deelnemers de Mont Ventoux op. Een pittige uitdaging want de berg (1912m) wordt niet voor niets de Reus van de Provence genoemd. Deelnemers laten zich sponsoren om 1, 2, 3 of 4 keer omhoog te gaan op één dag. De opbrengst van de Expeditie komt ten goede aan Orange Babies; een stichting die met haar programma voorkomt dat er baby’s in Afrika met hiv worden geboren. Net zoals vorig jaar is er voor gekozen om te investeren in het project Ng’ombe Home Based Care. Dit programma zet zich in om de hiv-transmissie van moeder-op-kind in de sloppenwijk van Ng’ombe van 10% naar minder dan 2% te krijgen in 2018.

Bell Ceremony om de notering van de obligaties (Medium Term Notes) door Home Invest Belgium te vieren

REN shares admitted to trading at Euronext Lisbon

Transaction generates proceeds of EUR 157 million

Lisbon – 16 June 2014– Euronext announced today that the sale of the 11% of the share capital of REN-Redes Energéticas Nacionais, SGPS, S.A. still held by the Portuguese State, generated proceeds of EUR 157 million. The 58,740,000 shares offered for sale will be admitted to trading in the regulated market Euronext Lisbon on June 17^th, allowing the company’s free-float to increase from the current 20% to 30%.

The price of the second phase of the reprivatisation of REN was set at EUR 2.68. The company’s shares closed today at EUR 2.72, which means a market capitalization of approximately EUR 1,500 million, considering the 534 million shares corresponding to its share capital.

The Portuguese State decided to sell the remaining 11% which it still held in the company led by Rui Vilar through a Public Offering (IPO) in the national market and a direct institutional sale aimed at national and foreign qualified investors.

Of the 58,740,000 shares offered for sale, 11,748,000 shares were allocated to the IPO, including 587,400 shares offered to the employees and 11,160,600 shares offered to the general public. The Direct Institutional Sale was of 46,992,000 shares. Approximately 1,7 million shares of the IPO tranche were reallocated to the institutional sale.

Following the IPO, REN raised 2,155 new shareholders.

“We are very pleased with the success of REN’s Offering, a transaction which underlines the importance of the Portuguese capital markets and Euronext Lisbon as a supporting tool for privatizations open to all the investors”, said Luís Laginha de Sousa, Chairman and CEO of Euronext Lisbon. “The increase in REN’s free float created by this transaction is also a positive element for the market as a whole”, he added.

“The complete privatization of REN´s capital closes a cycle that began with the autonomization of the transport function in the energy value chain. Today we reach a full independence between the concession grantor State and the concession grantee REN, and therefore the conclusion of the institutional model”, said Emílio Rui Vilar, CEO of REN.“I am pleased with the outcome of the transaction because, in addition to the clear demonstration of investors’ confidence, it allowed the increase in the free-float and stock liquidity, which is a positive sign to the shareholders and a greater challenge to both the management and employees”, he added.

Four MENA Exchanges close Euronext Markets in Paris

Euronext hosted the CEOs of Amman, Beirut, Tunis and Muscat Exchanges. The CEOs closed Euronext European Markets in Paris.

Mr. Marwan Bataineh - Chairman of Amman Stock Exchange, Mr. Chadi Salameh - Beirut Stock Exchange, Mr. Mohamed Bichiou - CEO of Tunis Stock Exchange, Mr. Ahmed Al-Marhoon - Director General of Muscat Securities Market, along with Mr. Nick Thornton - SVP Global Head of Euronext Market Solutions closed the European trading day in Paris.

Euronext previously announced that it has successfully signed agreements with four exchanges in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region for the implementation of its new UTP solution, UTP-Hybrid.
