Amsterdams 4 en 5 mei comité visits Beursplein 5 to sound the gong for Remembrance Day and Liberation Day.

The Amsterdam committee is commissioned by the City of Amsterdam and is responsible for organizing the Remembrance Day May 4 and Liberation Day May 5 program. Through a joint effort by many parties, the program consists of more than 250 activities. In addition to the National Memorial on Dam Square on May 4, there are activities like commemorations in the city, remembrance events in theaters, cinemas or concert halls, Open Jewish Houses and Houses of Resistance, Liberty Meals and the Liberation Festival in the Westerpark.
