Role and Responsibilities

The candidate will take on two primary roles, encompassing a balanced mix of operational and project-based tasks:

Operational Clearing Expert

  • Daily Monitoring: Overseeing clearing and settlement cycles. Monitoring collateralization of Nord Pool’s Members and working closely with Nord Pool’s Risk Team.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Providing top-notch support via telephone and email
  • Member Engagement: Presenting Nord Pool Clearing to members in collaboration with the Markets team
  • Rotational Duty Participation: Taking part in rotational duty arrangements. Mentioned duty normally takes place on Norwegian banking days within working hours

Project and Improvement Driver

  • Process Enhancement: Support the continuous improvement of business processes to meet customer expectations and ensure robust operations
  • Project Leadership: Initiate and manage new projects in collaboration with relevant teams across the organization
  • Ad Hoc Contributions: Drive or assist with departmental priorities and ad hoc tasks as needed.

We are seeking candidates with a degree in finance, economics, or a related field, and professional experience in finance, audit, or other relevant areas. Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken, are essential for this role.
