    Princess Máxima Center for pediatric oncology officially open for one year

    In the honor of the official opening of the Princess Máxima Center one year ago on June 5th, 2018, Diana Monissen, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Princess Máxima Center for Pediatric Oncology, opens the trading day with her colleagues.

    SnowWorld celebrates results of first half year

    Wim Hubrechtsen, CEO SnowWorld Leisure N.V., opens the Amsterdam Stock Exchange to celebrate the announcement of the results for the first half of the 2019 financial year. SnowWorld gained market leadership in indoor winter sports resorts in this first half year and increased its footprint from two to seven locations in the Netherlands and Germany.

    SnowWorld acquired their two competitors in the Netherlands and on in Germany.     Due to the takeover ILFA Group has strengthened her funding proposition, besides bonds ILFA will now offer equity finance as well.     Since the start of selling in retail exclusively for Albert Heijn in February, the brand has already been able to give more than 14.000 meals to the poorest children of the townships in South Africa. To celebrate this wonderful achievement, Lolo’s will open the trading day with their partner retailer Albert Heijn.

    Lolo’s believes that kids deserve good food. With this in mind, the startup develops healthy kids snacks and cereal. All products of Lolo’s are 100% natural, contain no added sugar and  are completely organic. In June 2018 Lolo’s was part of the finals of the Albert Heijn product pitch. After this event, the brand deserved a spot in the shelves of the retailer of the Netherlands; Albert Heijn. For each box sold, the brand gives a nutritious meal to an underprivileged child in South Africa.

    ‘We believe kids deserve good food, anywhere in the world. With our  one for one program we can really make a difference in the lives of many children.’ Says Lysanne Denneboom, co-founder of Lolo’s.

    Lolo’s is being run by not only the management but also by a group of honest children that together form the Kids board of advice. Twelve kids help the brand with all the steps in the process.     BI/OND won the Philips Innovation Award 2019. The founders sound the gong. The final of the Philips Innovation Award took place on 6 May.

    The Philips Innovation Award is an independent non-profit organization who closely work together with, amongst others, Royal Philips. The board of the Award consists of seven students from the Erasmus University Rotterdam. In this way, the Award is organized by students, for students.

    Student start-up BI/OND is the winner of the Innovator League of the Philips Innovation Award 2019. BI/OND Solutions provides biologists with avatars of human organs composed of Silicon chips and human cells for drugs R&D.

The retail promotions during the Fairtrade Week ensure that the volume for farmers' organizations in developing countries continues to grow and

    consequently more Fairtrade premium can be generated.
