    SEB welcomes large Nordic business delegation at Euronext Amsterdam

    SEB, a Northern European financial services provider, is hosting a NorthernEuropean business delegation at Beursplein 5 this week during the annual SEB Treasury Summit. Since 2018, SEB has organised this conference in various cities worldwide. The delegation, comprising approximately 65 group Treasurers from the largest Northern European companies.  

    Jörgen Sjöström, Client Executive at SEB in Amsterdam had the honour to sound the Gong.

    Today, students from the Finance & Control programme at Saxion University of Applied Sciences, from both the Enschede and Deventer campuses, visited Euronext Amsterdam as part of their study programme. The visit focused on finance, governance and the functioning of financial markets. The aim was to provide students with greater insight into the Dutch capital market and the crucial role of the stock exchange.

    The group was welcomed by Paul Noordam, Senior Sales Manager at Euronext Amsterdam. The visit was marked by a traditional gong ceremony, performed by Djordy Jonkers, a Finance & Control student at Saxion University of Applied Sciences

    Sif celebrates ten-year listing anniversary at Euronext Amsterdam

    To mark the tenth anniversary of Sif Holding N.V.’s listing, Boudewijn van Schaik, Chief Financial Officer at Sif Holding, rang the Gong at the Amsterdam exchange. Founded in 1948, the company specialises in the production and supply of tubular foundations for offshore wind turbines and has become a leading player in the offshore industry and its engagement with the Dutch capital market. The group was welcomed by Christine van den Bos, listing director at Euronext Amsterdam.

    Euronext participates for the second time in global ‘Ring the Bell for LGBTIQ+ Equality’

    Euronext is proud to participate for the second time in the global ‘Ring the Bell for LGBTIQ+ Equality’ initiative, organised by the United Nations Sustainable Stock Exchanges in collaboration with, UN Global Compact, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Koppa - The LGBTIQ+ Economic Power Lab and Open for Business. The initiative marks the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Transphobia and Intersexism, an international day that raises awareness of inclusion and equal rights for LGBTIQ+ communities. As in the previous year, bell ringing ceremonies are taking place at several Euronext locations. In Amsterdam, the initiative is being celebrated with a Gong ceremony together with representatives and partners from UN Global Compact Netherlands and Koppa - The LGBTIQ+ Economic Power Lab. The group was welcomed by René van Vlerken, CEO of Euronext Amsterdam.

Yasae also addresses the growing influence of investor relations on corporate decision-making, the rise of ESG and purpose-driven investing, and the impact of regulatory changes such as MiFID II.

    The day after Dutch-American Friendship Day, US Ambassador Popolo visited the Amsterdam exchange to sound the gong in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States. The visit highlighted the centuries-old relationship between the two countries, which in the fields of (International) trade and capital markets dates back to the foundations of the US economy.

    Page Society Regional Networking Event with Euronext Amsterdam

    Page Society, a global professional network for senior strategic communication leaders, and Euronext Amsterdam organised a regional networking event at the Amsterdam Stock Exchange as part of Page Society’s programme of regional gatherings for senior communication leaders, including those from listed companies. The event brought together participants to exchange perspectives on the role of communication in business and society.
     
    René van Vlerken, CEO of Euronext Amsterdam, discussed Euronext’s role within the European capital markets and emphasised the importance of communication in this context.
     
    The event concluded with a closing Gong ceremony and networking drinks, hosted by Marianne Aalders, communications manager at Euronext Amsterdam, and Maria Verheij, head of group communications at Ahold Delhaize.

    XtraAdvice sounds the gong to kick off the 10th edition of the Hollandse 100 and the fight against lymph node cancer

    Today, XtraAdvice rang the gong to highlight its participation in the 10th edition of the Hollandse 100. This annual sporting event, organised by Lymph & Co, aims to raise awareness and generate funds for research into lymphoma. XtraAdvice has been involved with the Hollandse 100 since the inaugural edition, when Rudolf van Schaik marked the occasion by ringing the gong. Sadly, Rudolf passed away last year due to cancer, making this moment especially significant. 

    Robert Bakker, head of issuer services operations at Euronext Amsterdam, welcomed Rudolf van Schaik’s son and other representatives of XtraAdvice and Lymph & Co today at Beursplein 5.

    Celebrating International Women’s Day at Euronext Amsterdam

    Today, Euronext Amsterdam participated for the twelfth consecutive year in the global ‘Ring the Bell for Gender Equality’ initiative, organised by the Sustainable Stock Exchanges and the United Nations. In Amsterdam, Linda Senden, Professor of European Law at Utrecht University and representative of UN Women Netherlands 2026, sounded the Gong in honour of this special occasion. 

    As in previous years, the day featured a comprehensive programme with inspiring speakers and representatives from the Dutch capital market, AEX-listed companies and, this year, the United Nations. With this year’s theme ‘Balance the scales’, Euronext highlights the importance of the participation of both women and men in the discussion on gender equality. The celebration of International Women’s Day at Beursplein 5 was organised in collaboration with UN Women Netherlands, UN Global Compact Netherlands and Women in ETFs Netherlands.
