Marking the launch of Mini ETF Options at Euronext Amsterdam
On 10 March, representatives and associates from Euronext marked the launch of Euronext’s mini ETF options by sounding the gong to open the trading day on Euronext Amsterdam.
Guests were welcomed by René van Vlerken, CEO of Euronext Amsterdam. The launch of mini ETF options is an important step towards making listed markets more accessible to a wider group of investors, in line with the strong growth and increased retail activity seen in the European ETF market in recent years.

Celebrating International Women’s Day at Euronext Amsterdam
Today, Euronext Amsterdam participated for the twelfth consecutive year in the global ‘Ring the Bell for Gender Equality’ initiative, organised by the Sustainable Stock Exchanges and the United Nations. In Amsterdam, Linda Senden, Professor of European Law at Utrecht University and representative of UN Women Netherlands 2026, sounded the Gong in honour of this special occasion.
As in previous years, the day featured a comprehensive programme with inspiring speakers and representatives from the Dutch capital market, AEX-listed companies and, this year, the United Nations. With this year’s theme ‘Balance the scales’, Euronext highlights the importance of the participation of both women and men in the discussion on gender equality. The celebration of International Women’s Day at Beursplein 5 was organised in collaboration with UN Women Netherlands, UN Global Compact Netherlands and Women in ETFs Netherlands.
