    Euronext lance le nouveau Marché Euronext Expert

    Le 9 décembre 2014, Michel Mailly, Officer Public Auctions, a sonné la cloche de clôture à Euronext Bruxelles pour fêter le lancement du nouveau Marché Euronext Expert en présence des nouveaux membres.

    Le Marché Euronext Expert est le nouveau marché secondaire pour la négociation électronique des titres non cotés.

    A partir de ce mardi 9 décembre 2014, vous pouvez négocier vos titres non cotés de manière électronique sur le Marché Euronext Expert.

    En effet, Euronext lance une nouvelle plateforme électronique sur laquelle vous pourrez acheter et vendre des actions et obligations (y compris les bons de caisse) et ce, dans un environnement transparent et sécurisé. Il s’agit de tout type d’instruments de financement, en ce compris ceux placés au travers du crowdfunding, pour autant qu’ils soient négociables. Du côté des acheteurs, ce marchés’adresse à l'investisseur informé et expérimenté.

    Le Marché Euronext Expert est reconnu comme « Système Multilatéral de Négociation » (SMN) et est le premier dans son genre à être créé par une bourse officielle européenne. Il se situe dans le prolongement du Marché des Ventes Publiques qui existe depuis 1873.

    Les fixings auront lieu tous les mardis à 12h00 précises et sont à suivre sur le site d’Euronext.

    The Ebola virus is destroying families in West Africa. Over 4000 children have lost one or both of their parents. The SOS Children’s Villages medical center is currently one of the few places where families and children can go for medical care.
     
    To prevent further contamination, SOS Children's Villages have set up emergency aid because of the lack of protective clothing, equipment and disinfectants. SOS Children's Villages cooperates with other international organizations. Eddy Guyt and Lisette Sier of 100% NL Magazine support the work of the international children's charity. Eddy Guyt: "We have been a long-time partner of SOS Children's Villages and once again we are impressed by their fight against the Ebola virus.     Radio Veronica sounds gong to call attention to Big Veroniklaas-action

    Station Director Erik de Zwart of Radio Veronica, part of Euronext listed Telegraaf Media Groep, sounds the gong to call attention to the Big Veroniklaas-action.

    Together with the National Childrens Fund and the Friends Lottery, Radio Veronica raised money to provide children in the Netherlands who live poverty with a gift for Sinterklaas holiday.  Listeners were asked to make a donation and votes for the Top 1000 also yielded money. On 5 December, the cheque showing the total amount of money and gifts raised will be personally handed to Sinterklaas at the Veronica Ship in Amsterdam.

    Bell Ceremony avec le vainqueur de la finale belge de Traders Trophy 2014-2015

    Le 3 décembre 2014, le vainqueur du Traders Trophy 2014-2015 et étudiant à  l’universitéKU Leuven, Victor Smits, a eu l’honneur de sonner la cloche pour la fermeture des marchés chez Euronext Bruxelles.

    Le Traders Trophy est une compétition de négociation d’instruments financiers pour les étudiants du monde entier. La finale belge de cette 4e édition a eu lieu au Palais de la Bourse. Cette simulation de négociation utilisée pour le Traders Trophy donne aux participants une idée de la façon dont fonctionnent les négociations dans une salle de marchés. Durant une heure, les participants se sont mis dans la peau de véritables traders et ont eu pour mission de négocier plusieurs actions en temsp réel.

    Les meilleurs étudiants des grandes universités belges ont concouru pour le titre de « Best Student Trader de Belgique 2014-2015 ».

    Lucille Werner sounds gong to mark International Day of People with Disability

    Television host Lucille Werner sounds the gong to mark International Day of People with Disability. On this day, the winners of the Business Walk of Fame are announced, a new initiative of the Lucille Werner Foundation.

    The Business Walk of Fame is a promenade of star-filled tiles, awarded to companies that are commited to an inclusive labor market. The Business Walk of Fame is located at the Zuidas in Amsterdam. Lucille Werner: “In a time where companies are forced to think about this subject in regards to the law of participation, we want to positively reward and stimulate those companies that have taken their first steps.”

    The Lucille Werner Foundation aims to strengthen the position of people with a disability in the Netherlands. Initiating high-profile television programs and creating jobs are key. By demonstrating a powerful and positive image, people with a disability will be able to easier integrate into society.

    Ambassadors celebrate 30th anniversary Dutch Service Dog foundation

The organisation trains dogs to develop 70 skills that can help those with a physical disability or therapeutic requirements. In connection with its 30th anniversary, the foundation is calling on individuals and organisations to help celebrate by organising as many fundraising activities as possible.

    The directors of Antares Foundation, Healthnet TPO, War Child, War Trauma Foundation and The Netherlands Mental Health Experts employed by UNHCR, UNICEF and WHO sound the gong to mark the importance of psychosocial support in emergencies.

    The efforts of the present collaboration of Dutch and International aid agencies is directed at assisting the millions of refugees by offering them the psychosocial support that they need. Emergency aid will become more efficient and attain more long-term targets if accompanied by psychosocial support. In order to elucidate this need, the above-mentioned organisations and Mental Health experts will meet on the 27th November 2014 during a round-table conference to speak to Dutch policy makers and members of the House of Commons. This meeting leads up to the conference of the Humanitarian Dutch Summit of 12 February 2015, which precedes the World Humanitarian Summit that will be held early 2016 in Istanbul on the initiative of UN secretary Ban Ki-moon.Co-chair of the IASC Reference Group on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in Emergencies, Margriet Blaauw, sounds the gong.

    Dutch Railways celebrates ‘CSR Manager of the Year 2014’ award

    Director CSR at the Dutch Railways (NS), Carola Wijdoogen, has been elected ‘CSR Manager of the Year 2014’ and opens trading to celebrate. Wijdoogen is accompanied by finalists Inka Pieter (KLM) and Koen Eising (Alliander).

    The CSR Manager of the Year election is organized by Royal HaskoningDHV together with partners VNO-NCW and Interface.     Gong marks launch “HartslagNu” app

    Foundation Heartbeat for the Netherlands opens trading to mark the launch of the new Smartphone-App “HartslagNu” (HeartbeatNow), available from March 2015.

    The rescue alert system for early resuscitation, HartslagNu, exists for two years now. More than 65,000 volunteer lay rescuers are registered and can be alerted in case of a resuscitation in their direct neighbourhood. These volunteers are able to be at site earlier than the ambulance and therefore can make the difference. By introducing the app, the effectiveness of the resuscitation alert system will be improved. Chairman of the Foundation Heartbeat for the Netherlands, Wim van der Worp, sounds the gong.

    Gong marks Get in the Ring Final

    Friday November 21st  marks the day that the winner of The Get in the Ring (GITR) Award  is announced. The award for start-ups is a part of The Global Entrepreneurship Week.

    Worldwide over 2000 start-ups have competed for a spot in the prestigious final in Rotterdam. Of this group, following wins in both National and Regional competitions, only eight remain to pitch their idea in front of four Champions and an audience of roughly 1000 entrepreneurs, investors, politicians and captains of industry. GITR is the Olympics for start-ups; a worldwide competition where they face off in one-on-one pitching battles. The Dutch company SnappCar represents The Netherlands and is still competing for a place in the finale. Co-founder of Get in the Ring, Martin Luxemburg, sounds the gong.
