We are looking for a Senior Operations Change Officer to join the Clearing Operations Team. The position will be based in Roma, and start from December 2024. You will report to the Clearing Operations Manager.
Our team performs a cross-functional role within the Operations team and is primarily focused on the following activities:

Primary Market & Corporate Services
Within PMCS, the Listing Department is in charge of the relationship with listed companies and those contemplating an IPO. Our mission is to promote financial markets and explain to business leaders the benefits of listing and how to better use financial markets once public either on the equity or debt front. Key role and responsibilities
The resource will be in charge of the following activities:
- legal support and advise to the entities of Euronext group and in particular to the Italian companies, working closely with the wide legal and regulation team located in the various jurisdictions where the group operates. She/he will support the companies of the Group active in the post trading businesses (clearing, custody and settlement) such as the CCP of the Group, Euronext Clearing (Cassa di Compensazione e Garanzia S.p.A.), and the CSDS such as Euronext Securities Milan (Monte Titoli S.p.A.) and others CSDS located in Denmark, Portugal and Norway.
Among others here a list of activities in the remit:
- management of passporting of foreign securities for Euronext Securities Milan;

In so doing, the lawyer will:

Key behaviours and skills required

Job Description:
The IT Messaging Engineer will be part of a transversal team that is responsible for the messaging platform in Euronext Securities. This platform serves the Euronext Securities entities in Copenhagen, Milan, Oslo, and Porto, with team members located in Copenhagen, Oslo, and Porto, and additional consultants in Poland.
Our messaging platform processes transactions using ISO15022, ISO20022, and proprietary messaging formats, ensuring they are delivered correctly to participants and business applications. Handling millions of transactions daily, the platform is a critical component of our IT landscape.
Key components include IBM WebSphere MQ, SWIFT and Common Message Hub (Incentage). We also manage an internally developed Java application, with other elements of the hub running on RedHat OpenShift, incorporating ActiveMQ and ElasticSearch.

Internal Audit overall presentation
The Internal Audit team supports Euronext in achieving its objectives by providing independent, objective assurance and advisory services to help management evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes.

Role Summary
The strategy on Clearing – called Euronext Clearing Internalisation – is focusing on a deep transformation of CC&G in terms of services, fees and risk framework so that it becomes Euronext Clearing, the CCP of choice for all Euronext markets.

The Commodities team of Euronext is looking to expand his team to fuel the growth of the franchise.
The Commodities Trading Product Owner will identify, own and shepherd rules, systems and features improvements that concern commodity trading at Euronext. The scope of his/her responsibilities will include the entire trading experience, including technical onboarding, trading rules and behaviour, market surveillance rules and systems, and communication with Clearing systems.
The product owner will identify new features or improvements to Euronext commodity trading, based on client and stakeholder feedback, competitive analysis and internal efficiency opportunities. The product owner will hence need to become deeply familiar with the features, rules and also the underpinning architecture of Euronext trading system, centered around our proprietary model Optiq: how it is built, what is possible, what is difficult.
Once improvements or new features have been identified, the product owner will build, if necessary, the associated business cases. The main activities the team oversees are the onboarding of trading member for all Borsa Italiana markets (equity, derivatives and fixed income) following the relevant due diligence assessment; annual risk based due diligence and KYC; management of member profile changes to ensure ongoing compliance with regulation; service provider accreditation and providing relevant support and membership insight to Products and Sales teams’ initiatives to enhance and launch new trading products, including rules, pricing or contract changes

A Software Developer – Trainee will learn and become responsible of the development practices during the development phases of pre-production, user acceptance and production.
