Primary Market & Corporate Services

Within PMCS, the Listing Department is in charge of the relationship with listed companies and those contemplating an IPO. Our mission is to promote financial markets and explain to business leaders the benefits of listing and how to better use financial markets once public either on the equity or debt front. In addition, we are supporting a dynamic through creating and promoting new corporate services and financing instruments, developing the investors’ axis, bringing together the ecosystem and lobbying towards European public authorities.

Within the French Equity listing team, the intern will :

• Actively monitor Equity capital markets and relevant newsflow for clients and prospects.

• Support sales representatives in preparing Coverage meetings and Prospect pitch materials, spanning the entire value chain.

• Contributing to the production Equity market intelligence.

• Provide qualified updates on key priority areas (Tech companies, Family-owned businesses etc.), analyse primary and secondary markets deals as well as organize an active and regular competitive watch.

• Participate in improving the team’s Excel models, creating new models.

Profile

• Final or penultimate year student from a Tier 1 university, business or engineering school, with strong academic credentials.

• Fluent in French and excellent level of English (oral and written)

• Previous internship/position in Financial Markets (e.g. Equity or Debt Capital Markets) or in Corporate finance

We are looking for a Senior Operations Change Officer to join the Clearing Operations Team. The position will be based in Roma, and start from December 2024. You will report to the Clearing Operations Manager.

Our team performs a cross-functional role within the Operations team and is primarily focused on the following activities:

• Engage with stakeholders at all levels to gather requirements, communicate changes, and address concerns
• Coordinate tests and all other preparatory activities prior to the project go live
• Support and coordinate internal readiness and client readiness in the context of a project
• Reporting key performance indicators (KPIs)

• Manage the project portfolio and project manage for the Operations the different projects of the Group impacting Euronext Clearing
• Coordinating the different projects gap analysis
• Supporting the deployment of the roadmap of transformation for the team

Experience

• +3/5 years of experience in project/programme/portfolio management and/or in consulting firm
• Strong interest and skills in Projects / Portfolio management

Education & Knowledge

• Master’s degree in Finance, Management or Engineering
• Awareness of financial markets and/or IT is a plus – as well as a first experience in consultancy firm

Commodities department :

We are looking for our new Commodities data analyst intern in the Euronext Commodities team. This position is based in Paris.

The Euronext Commodities teams is responsible for developing hedging and investment derivatives in the agricultural sector and beyond. We are a small, multicultural team based across the group locations in Amsterdam, Paris.

Assisting the commodities teams as a data analyst, you will be entitled to work on several areas.

Your role :

• Monitoring of the franchise performance (Volume, Open interest, Member, Functionnalities…)

• Maintenance of a few relevant datasets with potential optimization of processes that include data collection and updates using Python and VBA.

• Automatization of internal process and presentation

Profile :

Job Description:

The IT Messaging Engineer will be part of a transversal team that is responsible for the messaging platform in Euronext Securities. This platform serves the Euronext Securities entities in Copenhagen, Milan, Oslo, and Porto, with team members located in Copenhagen, Oslo, and Porto, and additional consultants in Poland.

Our messaging platform processes transactions using ISO15022, ISO20022, and proprietary messaging formats, ensuring they are delivered correctly to participants and business applications. Handling millions of transactions daily, the platform is a critical component of our IT landscape.

Key components include IBM WebSphere MQ, SWIFT and Common Message Hub (Incentage). We also manage an internally developed Java application, with other elements of the hub running on RedHat OpenShift, incorporating ActiveMQ and ElasticSearch.

As an active team member, you will handle multi-disciplinary and multi-functional responsibilities, such as configuration, integration, development and maintenance tasks, requiring excellent adaptability and proactivity.

Key role and responsibilities

The resource will be in charge of the following activities:

• legal support and advise to the entities of Euronext group and in particular to the Italian companies,  working closely with the wide legal and regulation team located in the various jurisdictions where the group operates. She/he will support the companies of the Group active in the post trading businesses (clearing, custody and settlement) such as the CCP of the Group, Euronext Clearing (Cassa di Compensazione e Garanzia S.p.A.), and the CSDS such as Euronext Securities Milan (Monte Titoli S.p.A.) and others CSDS located in Denmark, Portugal and Norway.

Among others here a list of activities in the remit:

• management of passporting of foreign securities for Euronext Securities Milan;
• advise to Euronext Securities Milan on management of corporate actions (i.e execution of early reimbursement of bonds);
• Yankee bonds analysis of legal documentation;
• legal and regulatory analysis in the launch of new product or projects (i.e OTC clearing);
• advise and management of open access requests to CCP or CSDs;
• support clearing migration project of Borda Italiana markets to Euronext model as team member providing required assistance in legal and regulatory matters;
• general legal assistance in favor of the Euronext Group entities with respect to any matter concerning civil, corporate, commercial, financial and bank law and advise on regulatory matters in particular on post-trade;

• drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, with providers as well as with clients, and any other relevant legal documentation concerning Euronext Group entities;
• participating in the drafting of Rule Book of CCP and CSDs and related implementing measures including Instructions, Annexes and market communications;
• developments of expertise on the regulatory and legal developments and in particular on EMIR Regulation, CSDR Regulation and Italian domestic laws and legislations;
• attendance of meetings, conference calls, workshops and working groups, in Italy and abroad, with colleagues as well as external professionals, in Italian and/or English

In so doing, the lawyer will:

• partner with the business and other relevant support functions, develop a thorough understanding of the commercial and strategic objectives of the Euronext group while managing the legal and regulatory risk exposure (i.e., understand the issue and produce viable and tangible solutions);
• think primarily “group” (i.e., assess the impact of any task on the rest of the Euronext group including the holding and sister companies);
• conduct rigorous analysis.

Key behaviours and skills required

The resource must meet the following requirements:

• degree in Law in Italy and, if any, Italian Bar qualification;
• deep knowledge of financial markets and of European and Italian laws and regulations such as MiFiD II, EMIR, CSDR, d.lgs. 58/1998 and Consob and Bank of Italy Regulations;
• 6 + years experience in (i) legal department of a bank or of investment firm, with particular preference for security services bank or (ii) in regulatory or capital market departments of international or domestic law firm;
• fluency in both spoken and written English;
• strong team working attitude;
• good communication skills and flexibility to cover shifts.

Job summary

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Product Manager to lead the discovery of new initiatives of products or extended features in existing products . Candidate will be involved in market watch, client events and other activities to select initiatives in line with the product strategy and client expectations. He will also lead the adoption stream of the product lifecyle to ensure that the products we are offering provide the expected added value and what other initiatives can be presented to enrich the offer.

The ideal candidate will be working closely to other Product managers in charge of execution to ensure that the discovery topics are well integrated in the global product vision.
