7782f619f58e-c618-414a-b90c-b234dc41f312COO Heineken turns Euronext Amsterdam orange
On his 100th day as Chief Orange Officer (COO) Heineken (ticker symbol: HEIA), Marco van Houwelingen, sounds the gong surrounded by Brazilian dancers and a Heineken Samba Shirt gift for all Euronext staff.
The Chief Orange Officer ignites and spreads the ultimate orange fever on behalf of Heineken, in and outside the Netherlands. In his first 100 days the COO was active on those special Orange moments such as the Holland Heineken House in Sochi. The COO invited some unsuspecting US citizens to join him on the ultimate Orange Experience; celebrating King's Day together with world famous DJ Armin van Buuren on a boat on the Amsterdam canals. As a personification of Dutch pride and the voice of millions of Orange fans, the COO is dedicated to celebrate that unique Orange fever; at Beursplein 5, after that at the pre-tournament games, the best decorated Orange street, in the bar around the corner, and of course in Brazil.

7776973ede0b-cae8-4de2-82d0-b798a106753eBarber returns to Beursplein 5
After a long absence, the well-known barber returns to the Amsterdam exchange.
In 1934, the Exchange Salon was opened at the Amsterdam exchange building. Before they entered the trading floor, stockbrokers visited the barber for a shaving in a classical way. However, the barber disappeared in 1996 from Beursplein 5. Until now! The ‘Cut Throat Barber & Coffee’ barbers, located at the Warmoestraat, revive the old tradition. Traders can book the 'Cut Throat Shaves' treatment in one of the authentic barber chairs. Peter Paul de Vries was the first to take place in the barber chair to be "cut and shaved". Co-Owner and manager, Tom Sadd, sounds the gong.
