Role Summary
The strategy on Clearing – called Euronext Clearing Internalisation – is focusing on a deep transformation of CC&G in terms of services, fees and risk framework so that it becomes Euronext Clearing, the CCP of choice for all Euronext markets.
After the internalization, Euronext Clearing will become the CCP of Euronext, providing services to all markets and supporting product innovation across the group.
The Product Owner is in charge of contributing the business and product development stream of the clearing house, by defining the functional design (business requirements) of Euronext Clearing’s services to clear energy derivatives as well as to create and package new offerings on data management. He/She will report directly to the Head of Product Development.
The Product Owner drafts the business requirements based on the needs that the various services cover, collected in part through consultation with clients (either external or internal). If there are several business lines or stakeholders involved, then the Product Owner must coordinate the various parties.

The Commodities team of Euronext is looking to expand his team to fuel the growth of the franchise. Euronext is entering a new strategic cycle with high ambitions for its commodities franchise, which has been historically focused on agricultural products. Euronext plans to leverage the strength of its integrated clearing house, Euronext Clearing, in order to develop new products and enter into new commodity markets.
The Commodities Manager of New Products will contribute to the expansion of the product range of the commodities franchise, by launching and nurturing products that cater to new commodity markets. He/She will help craft a compelling value proposition and define the best go-to-market strategy to market new futures contracts.
Ahead of a new product launch, he/she will execute on this strategy, create trust-based relationships with prospects and clients and animate the community of intermediaries and stakeholders that are critical to the success of a new product launch.
After launch, he/she will nurture these relationships so that Euronext contracts become a standard in these industries. The Commodities Manager of New Products will organize ad-hoc sessions, leverage corporate events and reach-out to clients to educate the industry on the benefits of futures markets, and to promote the use of futures prices as a reference in real contracts.
