You get to build our tax service – and make it a success 
In this role, you will help ensure documentary, process and quality conditions for our clients for all tax-related inquiries.
"Right now, we're providing tax services to a customer where it's all in high volume. But in the long term, we expect that more customers will demand this service," Sissel elaborates

In everyday life, you will collaborate with both your colleagues in the team, as well as product owners and managers when you:

  • Prepare business procedures, work instructions and process drawings for the tax refund area.

  • Contribute to automating and streamlining our internal processes and workflows, to ensure that we work efficiently, with quality in mind and follow the applicable guidelines.

  • Ensure that customers' refund applications are sent to the authorities.

  • Are in dialogue with public authorities to resolve any issues. 

  • Participate in customer meetings in relation to the development of our tax services and the associated system. 

  • Help to develop new products and services by, for example, designing requirement specifications and ensuring compliance and reporting. 

  • Are responsible for training and conducting courses in tax refunds, if needed.

  • Participate in/Responsible for Tax Year end reporting and other Tax related tasks

A strong team player with customer support and knowledge of the tax refund area
As we are a small team, we are very dependent on our close cooperation. Therefore we emphasize the importance of your team player-gene and your service-minded and customer-oriented approach to the tasks.
In addition, we imagine that you have:

  • A relevant education such as cand.merc. or equivalent.

  • Several years of experience in handling tax claims, tax reporting e.g. at a bank or a similar role. 

  • Knowledge of our other services and understanding of the value chain within securities trading. 

  • Strong communication skills and is a skilled communicator. 

  • Great Danish and English skills in both writing and speech.

  • Business development
    • Participate actively in the definition of a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with ES ambitions in order to achieve revenues targets

Euronext Clearing - Junior Developer

You will design, develop, and maintain Java based Web Applications to cover the needs of Euronext Clearing business processes, mainly oriented to the Risk Management office requests. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners and business analyst, to identify the requirements and implement the software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance Java Web Applications supporting the business.
  • Maintain and enhance the data bases supporting the Applications.
  • Collaborate with the other development teams
  • Manage and maintain version controls
  • Track and report requests and defects using Jira.
  • Conduct appropriate testing phase as needed.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Java and Python
  • Hands-on experience with Web Applications
  • Familiarity with Java EJB Framework
  • Familiarity with Python
  • Familiarity with Version Control Systems, mainly Git
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS and Javascript
  • Familiarity with relational databases, particularly MySQL and DB2.
  • Understanding of SCRUM, Agile testing methodologies, and continuous delivery and integration practices.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills with proficiency in English.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in software development.
