    Gong sounding Citroën marks launch of new car brand

    Peter Spelt, General Manager Citroen / DS in the Netherlands, sounds the gong to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Citroën DS and the launch of the new luxury French car brand DS in the Netherlands.

    DS, part of Euronext listed PSA Peugeot Citroën (ticker symbol: UG) has officially started as an independent car manufacturer with the aim to revamp the tradition of French premium cars.

    This year marks the 60th anniversary of the iconic DS; a car that instantly became world famous. The classic DS still enjoys great popularity among the Dutch, judging by many DS owners who still use the car for everyday transport.

    Entrepreneurship Summer School celebrates 10th anniversary by sounding the gong

    The 10th edition of the yearly Entrepreneurship Summer School, organized by Rabobank Amsterdam and the Amsterdam Center for Entrepreneurship (ACE), will kick off by sounding the gong. Prof. dr. Enno Masurel, Scientific Director at Amsterdam Center for Entrepreneurship and initiator of the Entrepreneurship Summer School, opens trading together with (future) student-entrepreneurs, the team of ACE and Rabobank Amsterdam.

    The Amsterdam Center for Entrepreneurship encourages entrepreneurship by providing a broad education and research program and contributes to the development of entrepreneurship skills and knowledge.

    The Entrepreneurship Summer School provides 35 students the opportunity to develop their business idea into a solid business plan in one week. By following workshops and attending the entrepreneurship helpdesk. During the finals, five finalists pitch their idea to a professional jury. The student entrepreneurs can win entrepreneurship consultation from Rabobank Amsterdam and the Amsterdam Center for Entrepreneurship when starting their business. During the forthcoming final on July 10th, the results of a research that has been done under the 256 participants in the Summer school Entrepreneurship over the past 9 years will be announced.

    On Friday 3 July 2015,  Paul Gheysens CEO of Ghelamco Group, opened the European stock markets with a Bell Ceremony at Euronext Brussels to celebrate the listing of the bond issued by Ghelamco Invest for an amount of 77.1 million euros. The coupon amounts to 4.5% gross per year.

    Belfius Bank, BNP Paribas Fortis and KBC acted as lead manager in this transaction.

Saxophonist Benjamin Herman will provide a suitably summery performance prior to the ceremony.
