Operational Client Support Italy - Internship    

Department description: Client Services & Membership (CSM) provides a range of customer and operational services across Euronext Group.  The core services provided by the department are: Technical Account Management, Technical onboarding, Software Certification and Client Support.

Team description: The Client Support (OCS team)  is responsible for managing technical incidents and requests across a range of Markets and Services, spanning multiple venues across the Group and its partners.

The team provides support for Trading, Market data and Post trade services across Equities, Derivatives and Fixed Income Markets. The team works on a shift basis. The Team participates actively to projects and it is involved in clients readiness.

Key responsibilities

This role covers the following responsibilities:

• To manage  Technical Incidents and Requests for external and internal customers in Test Environment, including application and network troubleshooting managing events through to conclusion maintaining customer communication.

• Use correct processes/procedures, tools, RACIs, SLAs and escalation model, perform proactive customer alert management, where possible, and event logging in ITSM tool to help ensure appropriate levels of service quality are consistently and predictably delivered.

• Work to priorities set by Manager and Team Leaders.

• Achieve KPIs to help deliver Service Targets.

• Help customers with Instrument related requests.

• Understand and achieve proficiency in the core competencies of the role across all products/services supported.

  • Perform Vendor analysis and reviews (incl. industry research and due diligence)

Within the Risk & Compliance department, a team of more than 40 talented professionals in Risk, BCM and Compliance, spread across our various geographies, is ensuring to preserve the value assets and reputation of the company. Identifying and assessing risks, implementing mitigation actions, informing, and raising staff and business awareness, monitoring and ensuring compliance with the appropriate regulations are the core activities embedded in our team. 

Euronext is in the process of reviewing its Internal Control Framework, with a view on better integrating it on its Risk Management process and aligning it with recognized standards such as COSO. 

This review will be conducted in a project-like organization, on a scope covering the core-market businesses, IT and associated support functions. The expected outcome of this initiative is an updated control framework including detailed and documented processes, a control program, as well as reporting and decision-making venues. The introduction of a system designed to automate the maintenance and the execution of the internal control program is also considered. 

The intern's role will be to assist the Internal Controller in the project, and then to help on the execution of the control program. Within the Internal Control Team, the apprentice, under the responsibility of the internal controller, will be located in Milan.
