Operational Client Support Italy - Internship    

Department description: Client Services & Membership (CSM) provides a range of customer and operational services across Euronext Group.  The core services provided by the department are: Technical Account Management, Technical onboarding, Software Certification and Client Support.

Team description: The Client Support (OCS team)  is responsible for managing technical incidents and requests across a range of Markets and Services, spanning multiple venues across the Group and its partners.

The team provides support for Trading, Market data and Post trade services across Equities, Derivatives and Fixed Income Markets. The team works on a shift basis. The Team participates actively to projects and it is involved in clients readiness.

Key responsibilities

This role covers the following responsibilities:

• To manage  Technical Incidents and Requests for external and internal customers in Test Environment, including application and network troubleshooting managing events through to conclusion maintaining customer communication.

• Use correct processes/procedures, tools, RACIs, SLAs and escalation model, perform proactive customer alert management, where possible, and event logging in ITSM tool to help ensure appropriate levels of service quality are consistently and predictably delivered.

• Work to priorities set by Manager and Team Leaders.

• Achieve KPIs to help deliver Service Targets.

• Help customers with Instrument related requests.

• Understand and achieve proficiency in the core competencies of the role across all products/services supported.

• Help Customers in test environment: operating on behalf of the customer,  or matching their test orders  on the platform, inserting liquidity in the test market in order to help the customer for creating the required test scenario.

We are looking for a talented, young and driven person to work in support of our Procurement team based in Milan. ere the main responsbailities:

• Perform Vendor analysis and reviews (incl. industry research and due diligence)
• Liaise with global business, technology, and legal groups to understand their requirements and business strategies in order to provide creative, cost-effective contract solutions.
• Review, control and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders (incl. support to Business to raise requisitions), in line with Procurement Policy
• Manage contract administration (signature follow up, termination, archiving …)
• Identify and implements enterprise –wide cost savings opportunities/programs.
• Supervise core procurement functions such as the RFI, RFQ and RFP processes, evaluating proposals, monitoring contract compliance.

• Schedule and prepare the board meetings (preparation of agendas and notices of meetings of the boards of directors, boards of statutory auditors and shareholders' meetings of the Italian companies in the Euronext group);
• Preparation of supporting documents for meetings of the corporate bodies and drafting of the relevant minutes;
• Drafting and review of corporate documentation (deeds/deliberations/minutes; up
• Dating of the corporate registry and handling relations with providers for filings with the Company Registry and the Revenue Agency);
• Supporting the development and implementation of projects aimed at digitizing the meetings of corporate bodies.

The team is in charge of management and investment of Euronext Clearing liquid resources, identification and contracts agreement with eligible counterparties, data reporting to company Top management and Authorities.

Lead the Group’s financial planning, budgeting and forecasting process, including leading the Group’s stress testing processes from a Finance perspective. Offer solutions based on economic trends and information provided by supporting business accountants. Set the strategic agenda and oversee actors working in multiple finance disciplines (among which Accounting and Reporting, Business Performance, Finance System and Project, Mergers and Acquisitions, Investor Relations, Treasury). 

Key accountabilities 

The FP&A intern role will cover a wide range of analytical tasks, playing a key role in supporting the Group's financial planning and analysis function, such as: 

• Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting and forecasting 
• Analyze of Euronext financial performance and work with division heads to achieve strategic growth targets. 
• Review actual organizational performance against budgets, identify differences, produce analysis and provides recommendations. 
• Support the financial team in the annual budgeting process 
• Supporting develop financial model and dashboard  
• Assisting with ad-hoc analysis and projects, as required 
• Coordinate the financial analysis needs of the company within country- or cross-business line segments.
