NYSE Euronext Lisbon Awards

NYSE Euronext is pleased to announce the launching of the NYSE Euronext Lisbon Awards which will be delivered for the first time in early 2012, referring to the 2011 performance. The Awards will be granted to listed companies, market members and other institutions and individuals for their activity in the Portuguese capital markets. The selection will be granted by a jury composed by the PSI 20 Committee members.

By the occasion, Luís Laginha de Sousa, CEO and Chairman of NYSE Euronext Lisbon said: "Capital markets are essential to the development of any country. In Portugal we still have a long way to go to ensure that this relationship is fruitful." "The NYSE Euronext Lisbon Awards are dedicated to highlighting the engagement of the financial community with the Portuguese capital markets, rewarding the performance and activity of issuers, brokers, investment houses, analysts, fund managers and lawyers, among others" he added.
