Are you ready to shape the future of capital markets? We are looking for a Group Procurement Senior Manager to join the Procurement & Finance Team. The position will be based in Porto, and you will report to the Head of Procurement & Finance Operations.

The Group Procurement Senior Manager is responsible for leading the transformation of the Procurement department to operate at best in class level, achieve cost efficiencies, enhance user experience, and align procurement strategies with Euronext’s overall goals. This role involves strategic planning, supplier management, and driving innovation within the procurement function.

As a Group Procurement Senior Manager you will lead the Euronext Procurement team group wide and (i) define & deliver the Procurement vision & strategic planning for the next years, (ii) implement the related Procurement transformation projects and (iii) ensure that daily procurement operations are performed smoothly, in compliance with Procurement policies & processes.

You will primarily be responsible for:

• Define & deliver Euronext Procurement vision & strategy:
  • Define Euronext’s Procurement vision & strategy for the 3 years to come, by identifying new trends, organizations, processes, solutions & technologies that could be implemented within Euronext;
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company’s new ESG goals and objectives;
  • Identify and build a plan of opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements;
  • Meet peers and external stakeholders and benchmark Euronext Procurement organization current status;
  • Define the plan & implement the journey to have Procurement function become best in class, especially in terms of target operating model, processes;
  • Measure success with clearly defined KPI’s, monitored and reported regularly.

• Steer and Implement Procurement transformation projects:
  • Act as a key contributor in transforming the procurement department to adhere to new regulations and industry standards;
  • Collaborate with senior leadership at Euronext, benchmarking with best market practices , to ensure that procurement processes are future-proof, efficient, and compliant;
  • Build a comprehensive Transformation Roadmap to implement innovative procurement tools and technologies that enhance operational efficiency. Identify clear objectives and goals of such a transformation roadmap;
  • Leverage new technologies and best practices to streamline procurement processes and operating models;
  • Run & deliver Procurement projects with state of art methodology to define and implement a yearly Procurement project roadmap, and the correlated yearly Budget to deliver the agreed Procurement Transformation roadmap.

• Manage Euronext Procurement team to deliver operational excellence:
  • Lead the whole Procurement team in all Euronext locations (Paris, Milan, Porto, London, Copenhagen, Oslo) and organize the Procurement team in the most efficient structure to deliver projects and run the BAU with clear operational excellence KPIs;
  • Develop a high-performing team culture through coaching, goal-setting, and performance management;
  • Monitor and report on procurement performance metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives;
  • Present regular updates to Senior Leadership at Euronext, providing insights and recommendations for procurement-related decisions;
  • Ensure full compliance with local and international procurement regulations, including sustainability and corporate governance requirements;
  • Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks while safeguarding the organization’s reputation;
  • Bring high level of expertise on complex contract negotiations to the teams.

• Other activities:
  • Provide local support to Category Managers to ensure opportunities to consolidate and find synergies are taken;
  • Support or lead RFP processes/negotiation with vendors on some key selected topics;
  • Identify areas of spend where procurement is not currently involved with but could make a significant impact on.

Your profile:​

Technical skills:

• Proficient in defining, planning, and implementing best-in-class Procurement organizations at Group Level with a clear vision & strategy;
• Proven experience of managing medium-sized teams cross-border (circa 20 individuals across 5 countries);
• Skills in core Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Dynamics 365 (ERP System) would be beneficial but not essential;
• Understanding of financial principles and processes;
• Experience in consulting firm, IT, or Finance sector on Procurement transformation is a plus;
• Led major complex negotiation projects.

Soft Skills:

• Proven managerial capabilities, leadership skills, and experience in functioning in a high-demanding complex environment;
• Excellent communication skills, including interaction with C-level management;
• Highly motivated, willing and able to learn, demonstrate initiative;

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a senior Procurement management position, including 5 to 10 years of relevant experience as People Manager;
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.

Key Accountabilities

As Senior IT Internal Auditor you will:

• Lead and supervise Audit Assignments on the IT scope. The Senior IT Auditor conducts reviews of various IT systems and business processes to ensure compliance with group policies, laws and regulations and international standards of good practices. Through assignments and continuous monitoring activities, the Senior IT Auditor evaluates governance processes and the effectiveness of the organization’s risk management and internal control processes. This includes:

• leading and managing the auditors on the assignment in all aspects of the assigned audit;
• following a risk based approach and in conjunction with the Chief Audit Executive, developing and executing IT audit programs and testing procedures;
• identifying discrepancies and provide recommendations for risk reduction and process improvements;

Profile and Skills

Experience & background

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience of relevant IT and/or information security audit experience
• Advanced understanding of IT governance, IT risk and internal control management and assessment processes.
• Solid understanding of IT systems, including networks, databases, operating systems, and application controls.
• Experience in evaluating controls related to COBIT, NIST, ITIL and ISO 27001 & 27002 standards.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Risk & Compliance department overview

Within the Risk & Compliance department, a team of almost 50 talented professionals in Risk, BCM and Compliance, spread across our various geographies, is ensuring to preserve the value assets and reputation of the company. Identifying and assessing risks, implementing mitigation actions, informing and raising staff and business awareness, monitoring and ensuring compliance with the appropriate regulations are the core activities embedded in our team.

The teams as, all its key stakeholders, including local Boards, Regulators, are located in all Euronext entities (Paris, Porto, Milan, Oslo, New York, Dublin, Copenhagen…).

Your role as Chief Compliance Officer

Reporting to the Euronext Head of Risk and Compliance, the future Chief Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring the robust protection of the company and setting a strategic vision on the Compliance agenda for the years to come with a clear plan on any new regulations to come in relation with Euronext's business, product and services. She/he will be leading, driving, attracting, retaining and nurturing high quality talent, while fostering a strong culture of diversity and inclusion.

The role will manage a team of 7 direct reports and a department of circa 35 people in total, splitted in Corporate Compliance, Member Compliance, Regulated Markets Compliance, Post Trade, CSDs and DPO.

The role involves establishing and maintaining a first-class compliance standard and culture within Euronext and will play a key role in ensuring Euronext business approach is in line with legal and regulatory requirements. The role is responsible for the development, ongoing maintenance and enforcement of the necessary policies and procedures and supporting activities within the overall compliance agenda including guiding the business on new initiatives.

Key accountabilities

Amongst other activities, the Chief Compliance Officer will be accountable to:

1/ Drive compliance roadmap with each scope

• Provide leadership and direction within the Compliance team to ensure the on-time delivery of the annual compliance plan and the continuous satisfaction of regulatory obligations.

• Develop, monitor with the rights KPIs and execute an annual compliance plan, in accordance with stated timeline targets, and in link with each of the direct report in charge of a specific scope : Markets, Post Trade, CSDs, Corporate.

• Serve as an independent and objective central point of compliance related issues and be the ultimate compliance escalation point

• Secure a clear and structured reporting to the Euronext Head of Risk and Compliance, Compliance committee, Managing Board, Supervisory Board and Risk Committee.

• Provide strategic regulatory guidance and advice on ongoing initiatives to maintain an efficient dialogue with relevant business owners and regulators where needed.

• Contribute to the compliance maturity growth of the compliance network.

2/ Develop a compliance culture

• Provide information on emerging trends and successful practices on compliance regulations and framework

• Impulse the needed level of transformation to maintain Euronext strong culture of compliance

• Manage and/or contribute to compliance related projects and oversee global initiated projects.

• Raise compliance awareness in the group, maintain relationships with team leads and local compliance representatives

• Support compliance tooling decisions

• Maintain and improve where needed a culture of operational excellence within compliance

• Inform and advise internally on several Compliance related topics, advise key stakeholders about Euronext Rules.

• Ensure good professional relationship with different regulators and college of regulators

3/ Lead and inspire high performing teams

• Lead and manage diverse and multicultural teams of c. 35 employees across 10 countries, driving strong engagement and performance
