The 450th anniversary of The Lucas Bols Company, which is celebrated this year, is a milestone that only a few companies achieve. Over the past 450 years, they have experienced significant growth, both during their time on the Amsterdam stock exchange and in creating great cocktail experiences around the world.
Huub van Doorne, CEO and Frank Cocx, CFO together hit the gong this morning to celebrate this achievement.
The group was welcomed by René van Vlerken, CEO and Christine van den Bos, Listing Director of Euronext Amsterdam.

Euronext welcomes The Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy
Founded in 1924 as the US Army Industrial College and now part of the National Defense University, the Eisenhower School has a long history as a military training institution. The students of this prestigious course are drawn from various US army units and the private and public sectors. An important part of the Finance Study is an introduction to key players in the European capital market, including a visit to Euronext Amsterdam.
The group was welcomed this morning by René van Vlerken, CEO of Euronext Amsterdam.

Regulatory bodies
Euronext Amsterdam is governed by the Act on Financial Supervision of 28 September 2006. Operation of a regulated market in the Netherlands is subject to prior licence. This licence is granted to Euronext by the Dutch Minister of Finance. The AFM (Autoriteit Financiële Markten) and the Dutch National Bank act as the regulatory authority for members of Euronext Amsterdam.

A single Euronext Rule Book governs trading on all Euronext Securities and Derivatives Markets. It contains both harmonised and non-harmonised, or local, rules.
