Dynamic Tariffs and the impact on consumers

Starting in 2025, European legislation mandates that major electricity suppliers must provide dynamic electricity tariffs alongside the familiar fixed-rate options. 

In the Nordics, electricity is already predominantly sold to end consumers based on the Nord Pool floating spot price. 

The question remains: will continental Europe adopt this trend? 

For consumers, the new tariffs could potentially lead to cost savings and greater use of environmentally friendly energy sources. Nord Pool, as a key player, continues to shape this evolving landscape.
