ES-PRT SRD II

SRD II - Shareholders Rights Directive

SRD II requires issuers to provide information in electronic format and in languages used for financial disclosures and international finance. It also mandates timely transmission of shareholder identification requests and general meeting notifications along the chain of intermediaries.

The SRD was incorporated into national law through Portugal's Law No. 50/2020 on August 25, 2020. The directive applies to issuers based in EU Member States with shares traded on regulated markets within the EU.
