How To Become a Customer

As a Danish CSD, VP Securities offers an entire range of services regarding securities such as issuance, shareholder identification and investor services. And of course we provide our core activity of operating a book-entry system and a securities settlement system.

The Danish Act on Capital Markets regulates what companies are able to join our securities settlement system as a Securities Account Controller and Settlement Participant.

If you want to become a customer at VP, you must complete and e-mail us the form “Application for participation”.

When we have received the completed form, our internal approval procedure begins. You can expect an answer to your request within a maximum of 30 days.

As soon as your request has been approved, we will forward the Participation Agreement and we can begin the process for onboarding.

If you want to issue securities in VP you can benefit from our broad investor base and our connection to both Nordic and global investors.

VP connects the Nordic capital markets to Europe through our T2S platform and by links with other central securities depositories in the European Union. It is both efficient and safe.

When you want to issue securities in VP you must appoint an issuing agent who has entered into a Participation Agreement with VP.
