Job Description Summary

The Software Developer/QA Engineer - Trainee is part of the Information Technology job family providing end-to-end technology across Euronext business.

Information Technology has a core responsibility for developing, supporting  and protecting the key trading applications, but also for managing Data Center and protecting Euronext systems from cyber-attacks and data theft.

Purpose of the Role

Euronext is seeking a talented Senior Data Engineer with expertise in AWS and a strong background in solution architecture, database management, and data engineering. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS services such as Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, and CloudFormation, along with proficiency in Python, SQL, and database technologies. Experience with Iceberg tables for managing large datasets is highly desirable.

Prospective and retrospective monitoring of compliance with rules and with national and European law and applicable regulation
• Monitor, alert, prevent and detect market manipulations accordingly to the compliance policy the defined process
• Prospective and retrospective monitoring of compliance with rules and with national and European law and applicable regulation (detect exceptions, unfair or unusual trading patterns, manage alerts and enforce the rules, investigation and reporting of suspicious market abuse and AML situations to the competent authorities)
