Within the End User Services family, this role is a key member of the workstations & Automation Team – ensuring optimal and cost-effective IT tools.

As a key member of the team with a very strong technical background, the successful candidate is going to be act as Subject Matter Expert on the managed perimeter.

Accountabilities:

  • Define, develop and maintain EUS capabilities in conjunction and alignment with Infosec and other Technology Services functions.

  • Within the Primary Markets department, the Business Development team is the focal point for business intelligence and projects for all Euronext listing venues.
  • Your missions will include debt capital markets research (DCM), competitive benchmarking and general support to the team.   • Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.

Your role will be key to support the team in developing  the strategic planning, organization, and execution of all events in Amsterdam, including IPO ceremonies, conferences, courses, and seminars. The Event Officer will join the Events Team in Euronext Amsterdam led by the Group Head of Events within the Communications & Investor Relations (IR) division.       The Primary Markets department covering Equity, Debt and Funds securities is notably in charge of the business relationship with listed companies and those considering an IPO on Euronext markets.       Role Summary

       The International Business Developer VP - Debt and Funds Listing is responsible for evaluating, capturing and managing new debt business opportunities and initiatives with new and existing clients in assigned regions. He/she develops and manages optimal business relationship with key debt clients and prospects, oversees market analysis, monitors competitive activity, and identifies business unit’s needs. ESG bond listing will be at the centre of this role. This position will require thought leadership, product and regulatory expertise and drive to enhance Euronext ESG bond visibility and deliver on our next ESG strategy phase.  

      Key Accountabilities

      Reporting to the Global Head of Debt and Funds Listing, the International Business Developer VP will be in charge of growing our debt and funds listing business internationally and delivering initiatives to enhance Euronext’s value proposition (products and services) and its position as a key listing venue among global exchanges, in cooperation with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

      Such initiatives / projects may include, but are not limited to:

      • Develop debt and funds listings business originating from assigned regions;
      • To increase debt and funds listing revenues in line with strategic KPIs and budget – (a) increasing overall market share (b) capturing significant share of new business and (c) building out geographical reach and penetration;
      • To originate and participate at key events and seminars for the debt and funds market and contribute to thought leader pieces in particular on ESG topics and on Green bonds markets;
      • Contribute to the overall client strategy to ensure we manage competitive and client risks and issues effectively and have a winning strategy to defend and grow our business;
      • Generate analysis and assessment of the products/market trends to identify key opportunities, risks, regulatory changes, stakeholders evolutions, etc.;
      • Engage with key industry participants to understand needs and identify opportunities for Euronext to broaden and develop its Debt offering across the assigned regions;
      • Contribute to the innovation of debt and funds products and services;
      • Act as an advocate and transformation agent to  positively influence the regulatory/legislative development of debt and funds listing framework.

      • 10+ years’ experience in the Debt and Funds securities industry (or relevant transferable background);
      • Expert knowledge and exposure to ESG bond products, regulatory framework, public speaking, editorial experience and thought leadership;

      • Sound understanding of debt capital markets, financial products, regulatory environment and EU securities legislation especially on ESG bonds;
      • Knowledge/experience of the EU securities legislation and listing requirements;

      • Tax Accounting: Oversee the monthly tax accounting process, ensuring that tax positions are accurately reflected in the company’s financial statements. Review tax accounting tools and support the finance team, ensuring local transactions and changes in tax legislation are appropriately incorporated and reflected in the entities’ financial statements.

      • Strategic Tax Advisory: Provide expert tax advice on special projects, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), assist with post-acquisition integrations, advise on business expansions, and restructurings. Review commercial and legal contracts with a tax lens to ensure both compliance and tax efficiency.

      • Cross-Border Taxation and Transfer Pricing: Monitor and analyse the transfer pricing implications of cross-border transactions. Provide guidance on pricing strategies, review legal documentation, and oversee the preparation of local transfer pricing documentation.

      • Tax Audit and Risk Management: Lead the tax audit process, engaging with tax authorities. Proactively mitigate tax risks and ensure smooth audit processes.

      • Legislation Monitoring: Stay updated on changes in local tax laws and regulations, offering proactive advice on the implications of new legislation for the Group’s tax strategy and operations, all through implementation of advice.

      Your Profile:

      • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in Tax within an international environment and/or Big 4 experience.

      • Strong understanding of financial markets and tax operations.
