Key accountabilities
• Strategic commercial development: develop and execute an effective commercial plan to generate new business and deepen strategic relationships
• Revenue management: develop and maintain revenues (including on a recurring basis) with existing and new clients by leveraging on the value proposition of product /service
• Product development support: support development of new products and maintenance of existing products in line with client requirements;
• Relationship management: make tactical and strategic contacts at the management level through client networks and other channels
• Product & market development: build specific, sector-oriented knowledge for the various products. Identify market developments and translate them into sales activities (outbound)
• Client success: ensure that the service/product is successfully delivered to the client and communicate with the client to fix potential issues. Identify cross-selling possibilities
• Integrated and comprehensive value proposition: interact with internal stakeholders to ensure that the value proposition of your product/service is comprehensive to notably generate cross-selling opportunities.

Your profile
• Proven experience in a product management, business development or sales support role.
• Expert knowledge of Euronext's and Nord Pool’s market model, rule book, service offer, the buy-side and sell-side landscape.
• Excellent client facing skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the client’s organization.
• Strong commercial acumen and strategic awareness.
• Excellent written and oral presentation skills, an ability to combine attention to detail with the wider strategic view.

Your Tasks…

will be centered on growing Nord Pool’s customer base for market data subscriptions, both within the energy sector where we already have a strong footprint but also within other sectors where energy market data is highly valuable.

As your main task,

  • Work closely with the Data Sales Manager to attract new customers and grow the top line of Nord Pool’s Power Data services business.
  • Administration of incoming data sales & renewals requests through to contract signing.
  • Manage existing customer relationships & and respond to customer queries,
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders including the Data product manager to identify and deliver new market opportunities,
  • Research & analyze the market space to identify new target sectors, potential customers & data trends.
  • Support the wider sales team to cross sell Power data services to existing trading clients and key industry stakeholders.
  • Be proactive and support targeted data sales campaigns.
  • Support on customer facing implementation of new revenue generating data services.
  • Manage a portfolio of key accounts via relationship management & sale of additional services.
  • Represent Nord Pool at relevant Industry events.
  • Any other tasks as reasonably required.

The Trading Adviser is responsible for contributing to the day-to-day operations of the power market and for technological development of the market platform and its products and services.

Your Tasks…

will be centered around growing Nord Pool’s presence in Western and Central (WCE) Europe, with a focus on the German-speaking region.

  • As your main task, attract new customers by managing the sales cycle from contacting potential customers to negotiating contracts and getting customers on board, and manage existing key accounts
  • Establish and expand a strong network with energy industry stakeholders, including customers, TSOs/DSOs, regulators and other public bodies
  • Represent and promote Nord Pool in external forums, trade fairs and conferences
  • Work with customers and external stakeholders to understand their demands and industry trends to be able to shape an innovative and competitive offering in the region.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders such as the Operations team, Customer Service and Product Management.

Job description:

The Head of Operations will oversee the day-to-day operations in Nord Pool, ensuring efficient, reliable, and secure trading activities, onboarding and incident handling. This role is critical in driving operational excellence, managing risk, and implementing strategic initiatives to support the growth and sustainability of Nord Pool. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in energy markets, operations management, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of Nord Pool, ensuring seamless and efficient trading activities.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Work closely with other Power Exchanges and Transmission System Operators in Europe to further develop and operate under the European processes agreed in close cooperation with other internal departments
