About the course

Oslo Børs invites you to an accelerated refresher course, held over half a day, to contribute to both knowledge and awareness of the board and board members' responsibilities, tasks and possible pitfalls. The use of the capital market, current regulations as well as the board's role in listed companies are topics currently on the event's agenda. Our ambition for this course is to help you be better prepared to take care of both your continuing responsibilities and to meet unforeseen challenging events.

The course is aimed at board members, the company's management and others who work with the board of the company.

Speakers

Per Gunnar Ølstad, Oslo Børs

Per Gunnar Ølstad is a senior analyst at Oslo Børs' market surveillance department. He was employed by Oslo Børs in 2007 and has had various roles since then. Before joining Oslo Børs’ surveillance team in 2016 he was working with stock exchange listings and held the responsibility for the energy sector on Oslo Børs. His previous work experience is from accounting in Norlandia Eiendom. Ølstad is an authorized fixed income analyst from NFF and he is educated from BI and the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a master's degree in finance.

Henrik Kulseng-Hanssen, Head of Investment Banking, Sparebank 1 Markets

Henrik Kulseng-Hanssen has 22 years of investment banking experience and has executed more than 150 capital market transactions across various sectors, as well as numerous high-profile M&A deals. Prior to joining SB1M, he has experience from Clarkson Platou Securities, First/Swedbank, as well as Jefferies and JP Morgan in London. Henrik has a B.Sc. in Management from the London School of Economics.

Jarand Lønne, Head of Natural Resources, Sparebank 1 Markets

Jarand Lønne has 11 years of investment banking experience and has executed more than 50 capital market transactions, primarily focused on the natural resources and energy sectors. He holds a M.Sc. in Investment Management from Cass Business School.
