Capital increase of GEE AM

We hereby inform that, on 17^th January, 2008, 2.500.000 shares, with a nominal value of 5,00 EUR each, were registered, representing the increase of the share capital from 500.000,00 to 13.000.000,00 EUR of SPCG - Sociedade Portuguesa de Co-Geração Eléctrica, S.A., under the code GEE AM.
