We hereby inform that, on 22th October, 2010, 400 units of commercial paper, with a nominal value of 50.000,00 EUR, of the company Portugal Telecom - S.G.P.S., S.A., shall be registered, regarding the issue "PT S.G.P.S. - 494ª Emissão PC - PRG 425M EUR", under the code PT1MJM.
This issue will be cancelled on 9th November, 2010.
