About Euronext Financial Derivatives team
Euronext Derivatives offers a wide range of index futures and options as well as single stock options and futures to a diverse community of clients (Banks, Asset Managers, Brokers and Investment firms) worldwide.
The Paris Euronext Institutional Derivatives team focuses at defining the Derivatives strategy by developing the reach of its core products within clients mainly based in France, the UK and the US, and works closely with traders to develop new products and services to generate future growth.
Within this unit we are looking for a “Equity Derivatives Analyst”, a highly motivated and talented intern to be fully integrated into the team. His/her role will be to assist the team to help them in ensuring the business competitiveness among a demanding and fast growing environment. The intern will support the team in market and product development activities for its Derivatives franchise. The intern will help the team to support the client interaction and will be involved into the marketing campaign. Client targets include buy-side, sell-side, liquidity providers, asset managers and clearing members based in the continental Europe and the UK.
The intern will interact on a daily basis with employees from various departments, the management team and clients, for which interpersonal skills are key.
Missions
Support the team commercial efforts in building presentations for clients (banks, market makers, brokers) including statistics describing trading pattern and rankings.
Close monitoring of competitors’ developments, and market shares trends.
Generating trading reports on a frequent basis to follow product developments and feed clients with trading trends.
Lead advanced analysis on derivatives (options, futures, etc.) to guide strategic decision-making.
Support the team’s efforts to enhance the current product offering and trading functionalities as well as evaluate new product development opportunities to distinguish Euronext in the derivatives market.
Participate in the marketing campaign for the launch of our new products/services.
Contribute to improving the communication channels with clients.
Conduct weekly/monthly client activity analysis.
Monitoring of the business environment: regulatory changes, economic indicators, and competitive intelligence analysis in the derivatives markets. (new products, performance, potential differentiation etc.).
Communicate key statistics to clients on a regular basis.
Maintain the client database to ensure a strong distribution network.
Other ad-hoc analysis and projects to support the Financial Derivatives team.
