Amendments to the Oslo Rule Book II

Reference is made to the consultation on amendments to the Oslo Rule Book II, as published on 2 May 2024. The amendments regard the rule on automatic admission of new shares, including clarifications in the rule and guidance, and the inclusion of a new information obligation in connection with the issuance of new shares of the same share class as already admitted to trading on the Oslo Stock Exchange (main list) or Euronext Expand.

The consultation period is now over. No further adjustments or amendments have been made following the consultation. The changes in the rules have been resolved by Oslo Børs in accordance with the proposal. The changes will enter into force on 4 July 2024. Mark-up versions of the documents and the updated notice were published in connection with the consultation, and are available here: Oslo | euronext.com The information to be provided to Oslo Børs in order to fulfill the new obligation as stated above must be provided through a functionality for this in NewsPoint. A new module, “Share issuance”, will be available from the changes enter into force on 4 July 2024. The module will automatically become available for the company’s NewsPoint administrator, as well as for ordinary users who already have access to the module “Company Information”.
