Subsequent to the extinction of COMPAL - Companhia Produtora de Conservas Alimentares, S.A. due to the respective merger, by incorporation, in the company "INBEPOR - Investimentos em Bebidas Portugal, SGPS, S.A.", the correspondent cancellation of the registry, on 8th August, 2006, of 1.509.000 shares, book-entry, bearer, under the code CMP AE, representing the share capital of that Company, is made public.
