The Role:

The Business Developer will work closely with several departments and business domains in the Group, and report to Head of Data Services. The position will play a pivotal role in identifying and developing new business opportunities, as well as leading initiatives to foster growth. This position is perfect for someone who possesses a blend of analytical skills and project leadership abilities, without necessarily being a traditional Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft and implement strategies together with relevant teams to drive organic growth within Data Services.
- Lead initiatives to enhance product offerings and penetrate new markets.
- Analyse market trends and identify opportunities for business expansion.

Requirements:
- A master’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in business development, preferably with exposure with leveraging on large datasets and similar environments.

Are you ready to shape the future of capital markets?
We are looking for a Software Developer in Oracle PL/SQL, APEX and Java to join the Software Factory Team. The position will be based in Porto, and you will report to Head of Software Factory Porto.
You will primarily be responsible for:
- Creating designs new applications based Product Owners and Functional Analyst specifications.
- Writing and maintaining code for applications using computer programming languages used in Euronext Securities;
- Testing the development of the code components to ensure they meet standards, performance and security;
- Providing technical support for existing applications, including troubleshooting problems with code components.
Required Skills and Experience:
- IT Engineer or similar role or proven experience as a Software Developer;
- Programming language: Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL and Java programming languages, with 3+ years of experience;
- Event-Driven Architecture: Strong understanding and practical experience in building event-driven systems;
- Spring Boot: Extensive experience in developing applications using Spring Boot framework;
- Kafka: Experience with Kafka for building real-time data pipelines and streaming applications;
- PostgreSQL: Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL including performance tuning and optimization;
- Design and implement scalable and reliable event-driven architectures;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features;

Key accountabilities
- Monitoring of the STP static data flow injection into ES-MIL system
- Assistance and support to clients in performing activities to enter securities static data into ES-MIL GUI
- Collaboration with account management to intercept clients’ needs and requests
- Working with development team to enhance controlling system and reporting
- Analysis of information provided by clients as first step to centralize securities into ES-Mil system
- Contacts with foreign CSD to determine the appropriate static data set up in ECB platform
- Contribute to asset migration process when required
- Assistance to KPI monitoring and development
- Testing of new functionalities aimed at further enhancing the STP process

Key responsibilities
- Business development
- Participate actively in the definition of a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with ES ambitions in order to achieve revenues targets
- Implement the sales strategy by developing strong relationships with the current strategic clients base and the prospects identified
- Identify cross-selling opportunities within ES entities and EURONEXT Group ( exchanges, clearing, data services ..)
- Monitor the sales activity through the input and regular update of ES Global CRM ( commercial opportunities, meetings reports, revenues and budget follow up, update of the clients’ contacts …)
- Client relationship management:
- develop strategic contacts at each level of the client’s management organization through clients’ existing networks and other channels

Your profile
- Significant experience in a sales role within the financial industry, ideally in a CSD’s or related sector ( custodian, financial services .. ) .

Key accountabilities
• Ensure the delivery of settlement, custody, asset and fiscal services and support the management and control of the physical securities registered in Centralized Securities System and their safeguarding according to best international practices

Borsa Italiana Spa, the company responsible for the organization and management of Italian financial markets, provides an internship opportunity in Monte Titoli, leading provider of efficient and secure financial market post-trade services, across pre-settlement, settlement, custody and asset services. The internship is within the Local and international settlement team.
Monte Titoli Settlement area is in charge of controlling and monitoring the correct functioning of the settlement activities throughout the entire chain from trading platforms and clients systems to settlement platforms including the possible interaction with the clearing systems.
It is also responsible for the relevant Settlement documentation describing the Settlement services and for the enhancements and development of the service. For this purpose there is a strong interaction with domestic and European institutions and supervising authorities.
