Our internships are full-time, have a minimum duration of 6 months and involve constant mentoring by a company mentor and a team of professionals. 

Internships are based in one of our Italian offices: Milan, Rome, or Isernia, and can incorporate both on-site and remote working.

Areas and skills

Finance and Market Strategy

You will join the Primary Markets (Borsa Italiana or ELITE) or Post Trade (Euronext Securities Milan) teams in overseeing financial markets and related instruments in order to meet the demands of internal and external stakeholders. This role will allow you to become more confident in managing the dynamism of the market, embracing its current evolution and being part of the change itself.

We are looking for profiles with a background in Finance, Market Economics and Financial Intermediaries (Master's Degree).

Finance and Market Law

You will join the Primary Markets (Borsa Italiana) or Post Trade (Euronext Securities) teams in the study of financial market regulation in order to help the group comply with national and international law. In addition, the role will allow you to deepen the analysis of companies that want to list on the stock market, and listed companies that want to maintain their position with strength.

We are looking for profiles with a background in Law, specialising in Regulatory and Corporate Compliance (Master's Degree).

Finance and Quantitative Methods

You will join the Primary Markets (Borsa Italiana) or Post Trade (Euronext Securities Milan) teams in the study of quantitative analysis of financial instruments in order to manage data and reports that can be used to make strategic and important business decisions.

Marketing & Communication

You will join the Primary Markets (Borsa Italiana) teams in organising financial conferences, events and training courses in order to support the company's products, activities and results worldwide. Intern and Apprentice, Italy

The sought-after candidate will be placed in the Register&AGM team, which operates within the Asset Services area of ESM as a Service Center for issuers, managing the update of the Shareholders’ Register, the assembly operations, and those related to various Corporate Actions, as well as domestic and international custody activities. 

Key accountabilities 

After proper training, the candidate will be mainly employed in activities related to the basic operations of: 

  • Accounting for ordinary and extraordinary transactions 
  • Discharge and diagnostics of flows from intermediaries, operational management in support of the team (printing of registers, stamping operations 
  • Maintenance of the Shareholders’ Register warehouse, secretarial operations, etc.), and Custody operations. 
  • Support the team in basic activities related to the organization and management of shareholder and stockholder meetings.

The main activities the team oversees are the onboarding of trading member for all Borsa Italiana markets (equity, derivatives and fixed income) following the relevant due diligence assessment; annual risk based due diligence and KYC; management of member profile changes to ensure ongoing compliance with regulation; service provider accreditation and providing relevant support and membership insight to Products and Sales teams’ initiatives to enhance and launch new trading products, including rules, pricing or contract changes

To achieve the above goals the Membership Team works closely with clients and a number of other group teams and uses a customer web interface and a specific tool, Compliance Catalyst, to perform the KYC.

The team is also directly involved in projects linked to the integration with Euronext Group and with the relevant impact that these have on the processes, procedures, contracts, regulation, systems related to the membership framework.

To this extent the membership team is also involved in the delivery of the new Group Portal, MYEuronext, a strategic tool to enhance member management and self-service capabilities, overseeing the membership business requirements, testing phase and clients transition from the old portal to the new one.

The resource will support the team for administrative purposes and the implementation of new portal MyEuronext for the processes and procedures falling within the scope of the Membership activity, particularly with regards to the testing phase.

The team has the responsibility for the relationship with listed companies in the area of corporate and price sensitive information, interacting with listed issuers, advisors and supervisory authorities. The team is also responsible for monitoring compliance by listed companies with the Exchange Rules, managing, where necessary, the relevant institutional proceedings (e.g. suspension/delisting/enforcement proceedings). 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Monitoring price sensitive information disseminated by companies listed on Euronext Equity Italian Markets.

Lead the Group’s financial planning, budgeting and forecasting process, including leading the Group’s stress testing processes from a Finance perspective. Offer solutions based on economic trends and information provided by supporting business accountants. The FP&A intern role will cover a wide range of analytical tasks, playing a key role in supporting the Group's financial planning and analysis function, such as: 

  • Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting and forecasting
